Strawberry, Mango and Chia Smoothie

This recipe makes a 2 colour smoothie which looks lovely when layered into a tall glass. You will notice that both smoothies may be slightly thicker than usual. This helps when layering the 2 colours.

How it’s done

  1. Make the mango smoothie first. Place the frozen mango, ½ the banana and the milk into the Blend Active bottle, blend until thick and smooth.
  2. Pour into the bottom of your glass. Rinse the bottle and blade and then add the strawberries, remaining banana, chia seeds, ice and juice or milk and blend until smooth. Top up with almond milk.
  3. Blend until smooth. Add honey to taste.
  4. Pour over the mango layer and enjoy.

What you'll need

    Mango layer

  • 1handful of frozen mango
  • 1ripe banana
  • 200mlchilled almond milk
  • Strawberry Chia layer

  • 100gstrawberries, hulled
  • 1 tbspchia seeds, soaked
  • 3-4ice cubes
  • 200mlchilled apple juice or Almond milk
  • Honey, to taste
