Hibiscus, Raspberry and Mint Refresher

The Hibiscus flower has many health benefits and is used throughout the world. The flowers once steeped in boiling water produce a tart juice that works well with mint and gives this smoothie its vivid purple colour.
The dates are added for a touch of sweetness

How it’s done

  1. Place the dried flowers into a bowl or cup and add the boiling water, leave for 5 minutes to infuse.
  2. Strain into the Blend Active bottle, adding in half of the soaked flowers.
  3. Add the raspberries, dates, mint leaves, and chilled apple juice.
    Blend until smooth.

  • 1 tbspdried Hibiscus flowers
  • 200mlboiling water
  • 80gfrozen raspberries
  • 5dates pitted
  • 1handful of mint leaves
  • 200mlapple juice
