Pancetta, Brie and Pear Rustic Toasted Sandwich

Try our French styled Pancetta, Brie and Pear rustic toasted sandwich – the perfect lunchtime treat. Serve with a French style salad and drizzle with a honey and mustard or French-style dressing. You’ll need a Breville Sandwich Press or Panini Maker to create these!

How it’s done

  1. Preheat your Breville Panini press. Cut 4 slices of bread from your loaf and placing 2 of these slices onto a chopping board or plate, ready to assemble your sandwiches.
  2. Place the brie onto the bread first, top with the pancetta, then the sliced pear and drizzle with honey.
  3. Cover with each of the remaining bread slices and toast on your hot Panini press for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp.

What you'll need

  • 1 French Boule, or another similar round loaf of bread.
  • 6 cooked pancetta slices
  • 6 slices of ripe brie
  • 1 ripe pear, washed, dried and thinly sliced
  • Honey, optional
