Blend-Active Pro Fresh Berry Breakfast Smoothie

The Blend-Active Pro fresh berry breakfast smoothie is the fruity and nutritious way to start your day! With berries, nuts and yoghurt, this smoothie is the ideal breakfast replacement if you haven’t got time or are on-the-go. Make it in a morning before you head to the gym and enjoy as a post-workout smoothie on your way to work. Enjoy!

This recipe has been made for the Blend-Active Pro as the included spice grinder allows you to chop nuts and spices before adding to the bottle, but you can use this smoothie recipe in the original Blend-Active too!

How it’s done

  1. Place the whole nuts into the spice grinder and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add the berries, banana, nuts, oats and yoghurt into the Blend-Active Pro bottle.
  3. Fill with the chilled milk, adding a drizzle of honey if required.
  4. Blend and enjoy.

Breville Top Tip – During the winter months when berries like raspberries and blueberries are out of season, we swap our fresh berries for frozen berries instead. Frozen berries are available in all major supermarkets and are ideal for smoothies! Additionally, if you have overripe bananas, don’t throw them away; peel and break them in half so you can freeze them and use straight from the freezer in your favourite smoothies!

  • 1 handful of oats
  • 2 tbsp fat free natural yoghurt
  • Chilled skimmed milk
  • Honey
